Prenatal/Postpartum Care

  • Maternity support and dedicated Care Managers for pregnant moms through our Bright Start® prenatal program, and Keys to Your Care® texting for expectant moms.
  • Regional baby showers. Qualifying members receive diaper bags and other supplies, plus they now have a choice of a car seat, a portable crib, or a stroller.**
  • Diaper Days for children ages 0 – 30 months.**
  • Electric breast pump for new and expectant moms. Conditions apply.
  • Home-delivered meals for new moms. Conditions apply.
  • Newborn circumcision up to 6 months old.

Child Wellness (up to age 21)

  • Jump-Start back-to-school events with health screenings, haircuts, and backpacks filled with school supplies for grades K – 12.**
  • Voucher for swim lessons or Youth Sports Program for qualified members at participating regional YMCA locations.
  • GED assistance and college scholarships for qualifying members.
  • Regional member-appreciation events at participating museums, now providing Scholastic books.

  • First Choice Take Flight Enhanced foster care program for youth who are aging out of foster care.
 

Adult Wellness (21 years and older)

  • Adult vision care, including eye exam and glasses every 2 years. Conditions apply.
  • Well-woman services, including mobile mammography.

Technology Benefits***

  • Download our app on Google Play or App Store for an electronic version of your ID card you can fax from your phone to your health provider. The app also allows you to find a health provider or pharmacy that’s convenient for you, access the member handbook, and more.
  • Stay updated with one-way text reminders about well visits, health tests and screenings, and yearly eligibility review reminders. Request two-way text messaging with your Care Manager.
  • We have a searchable website to find no- or reduced-cost local services for medical care, food, job training, and more. First Choice members can get help from trained resource navigators, too.
